Christmas of 2014, checked out. New Year’s; checked in. January has passed its halfway mark into the year. What’s up with those resolutions and goals set? By that I mean, are they up and moving on their desired pathway to destination; or, have they begun to wither away in the milieu of gloom?

Unfortunately, busy lifestyle, boredom, procrastination, physical-spiritual fatigue are a few off-putting culprits creeping in and responsible for the non accomplishment of self achievement. Sadly, the negatives ciphers are not going to stop flashing; so before it’s too late to take back your power, implement strategies to deal with them whilst they are still on their course. Whatever is the kind: resolutions and/ or goal; the non attainment factor can be devastating to the soul.

It’s time to re-asses one point: How many of the resolutions/goals have been carried forth year after year and been offered again and again?

Hebrews 10:11: Furthermore every(human) priest stands ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip(from every side of us) the sins(that envelop us) and take them away.
Imagine asking for forgiveness for the sins we have been forgiven for year after year, unsure if we have met the criteria’s for redemption. Similarly, the plans positioned by self are a direct reflection of all things desired and craved for by the soul; fulfilling them would offer the soul a sense of restoration. You cannot keep repeating them if you have learned from, as well as conquered them.

One should not forget Hebrew 10:12: Whereas this One (Christ), after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God.
JESUS sacrifice was ONCE and for ALL! If we walk in Christ, we have to have his kingdom mentality. What you clutch, you have to take to its finish line.

You need to ask yourself; is my soul crying out from lack, or, is it being forced to accept some worldly desire thrown at it. The perception of what is considered as worldly is varied between believers. No two life walks are the same; yet, the designer is ONE.

BE BOLD to lay down the goals; inspect, dissect, organise and set the ones you have brought forth repeatedly. Don’t let it weigh you down. This year you shouldn’t be moving in the same momentum as the last. You need to Oomph it up by doing things differently, to reap different results.

Do not let go halfway onto the climb to the top. The view should be bigger and better! By meeting your goals, you fuel your destiny; thus moving closer to your real purpose in Christ. You become more than a conqueror in the process of pushing forward at any cost.

Remember Christ, who neither took his eyes off his goal nor did he give up in hostile circumstances. His purpose in you is fueled by your resolutions/goals and manifests only when acted on.
