………………. and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.-PROVERBS 13:22
I believe in miracles! Do You?
Miracles are addictive!
If you have experienced them once in your lifetime, you can agree with me when I say, you neither are nor feel the same after. I have seen many miracles manifest in my life, therefore, each day I am expectant of them. It could also be the reason why, I get excited every time I hear a message on wealth transfer. I have always prayed for the prosperity blessings to shower onto all areas of my life, especially when it comes to material comfort. Previously, when I was a religious Christian, guilt used to surpass me whenever I kneeled down to pray for affluence. I did trust God to provide me with all that I needed; however, I would secretly picture waking up one morning and whola!!!!….my bank account would be filled up like those who had had their breakthroughs ……supernaturally I would be rich, just like them! It has happened and I believe all things are possible through Christ
So, if it’s not happening in one’s life; does that mean they are not worth? Or that it’s indeed true what they say; one has to work/toil? Or that the verse is meant for just a few out there???
Well, if one feels they are not worth, then it’s because they are not rooted in his Word nor do they have a relationship. Where there is doubt, there is no trust.
If one thinks they have to work/toil/sweat to be rich, then, they do not believe in miracles or his unmerited favour. If you are confident the verse only applies to a few out there, then, you believe that God is a respecter of persons. In other words, you do not know the true Jesus!
Not to worry, we all have had our shares of doubts, questions and grumbling moments. God loves you nevertheless.
After I stopped complaining every morning…..yes.……..
One day, I sat down to meditate on Proverbs 13:22. I knew for a fact that the answer would be revealed and if the Word says it’s laid out for me, then so be it. It is mine to claim; but how then do I tap into that wealth?
……..By seeking what my life’s purpose is and God-given gifts are. Have you ever loved doing something so much so, that you have stopped and told yourself, ‘it’s not worth wasting time on’, ‘I am not good at it’, I don’t think I can do this like so and so’; all this doubts while thinking about doing it constantly?
Let’s say I wake up and say, “My passion to want to write songs and sing them is just a hobby and that’s what my family and friends keep telling me”. But, in spite of letting their words sink in; I still keep picturing myself singing in and to a huge crowd. I worry about it not being a lucrative occupation, the negative voice in my heard never seizes to inform me that it is meant for a few lucky individuals and what I am good for is a 9-5 job routine which will pay my bills. In short what matters to me is the fearful thoughts that, I have no support from outside; should I be holding on to the wealth (seed) which I was, in the first place blessed by the same God who is telling me to let go of it for a bigger prosperity harvest?
In my heart, all I want and see myself doing is writing and singing songs. In choosing to suppress the inside voice, and living a pay check to pay check lifestyle, while praying and hoping for supernatural abundance, I am leading a double standard lifestyle. Years, months go by and I am under the foolish impression that I am in his will, doing what he wants; but the truth be told, I die each time I kill that inner, passionate, purpose filled voice.
So, let’s says I finally decide to give in and write, sing and one song which my inner voice had prompted me to write is a success. Before you know it, I am getting offers, deals…….then, there is a transfer of wealth which was laid out for me. Everyone wants what I have once feared to share. By ‘doing’, ‘believing’, ‘trusting’, ‘never giving in to fear, negativity’ and ‘suppressing’, I finally have experienced a wealth transfer.
Remember, the verse is a proverb, meaning it is stating a general piece of advice for you. You cannot expect supernatural living, by killing the voice that ‘dares to be’; pushing you to step out and do the unthinkable. That one song could be your breakthrough; that one article could be the stepping stone for which you were waiting for, to be noticed as a writer; that one kind of unquestionable action could bring forth your overflow. The tithe or/and offering amount could bring you the prosperity which you had hoped for.
Give value to your inner voice, it will show you to your true wealth which is hidden inside you. Remember your true inner gifts will bring you riches, not just in money form. Isaiah 26:12; “Lord, you will ordain peace (God’s favour and blessings, both temporal and spiritual) for us, for You have also wrought in us and for us all our works.
Religion teaches us, if it’s God’s will we will receive. So, when we begin to feel like we don’t deserve what we are asking; or as a proactive measure to keep safe from the fear of disappointment, we pacify the self by telling it that it was not a necessity, thus not his will and silently bury the want. I believe this is the reason why most Christians don’t lead an abundant life. They measure Jesus’ giving! I always say, Jesus was a doer and not a sitter. He did not wait to be a blessing. He went ALL out and blessed. It may have not always gone the way he hoped for, but he still persisted.
Pay attention to the verse, “the wealth of the sinner is ‘laid up’………
How then can you tap into something that is ‘arranged out’(action) for you?
In every wealth transfer testimonies stated in the Bible, there was an ‘act of obedience’ and ‘dare to step out’ moment preceding it; from prayer, sowing, planning, by standing still………!
When you step out to do what it is that you want to do without letting fear cripple your action; you acquire ALL that which you have run away from and ‘WANT’-ED!
