Catchy title isn’t it? Whenever one decides to label a person, it definitely grabs the attention of someone and then spreads over to many more. So is the reaction of the world!

It was in one such responsive moment a chase I believe came to pass! The winning aspect to me was not just in its stoppage; nor was it in the moment of knowing it was a trap; but, it was in the instance when power and authority was delivered by one person with confidence, in order to break the cruel attack instigated by the crowd onto one person! It was ‘one’ anointed person that put to shame a crowd of– influential, judgmental, sin-oozing, prying, and targeters of emotionally fragile individuals!

I absolutely love the verses in John 8-11. It starts with negative anticipation and ends with freedom!

Recap: —Teacher, they said, this woman has been caught in the very act of adultery.

Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such [women—offenders] shall be stoned to death. But what do you say [to do with her—what is Your sentence]? This they said to try (test) Him, hoping they might find a charge on which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger. However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her”. Then He bent down and went on writing on the ground with His finger. They listened to Him, and then they began going out, conscience-stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court. When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.

What an ending!!!The part that stirs my spirit is the part when Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. He wrote on stone (since the Ten Commandments where written on stone tablets)! A new order to be followed I say!

I have been following this group of Survivors of Child Trafficking and Flesh Trade Trafficking. Their stories overwhelm me; yet their strength never seizes to inspire me! I realized there are so many survivors who are struggling on a daily basis to fit into a so-called normal world system.

All they want is to be liberated; liberated from judgmental eyes and stereotype classification. If you are a prostitute then it was your choice! When did flesh trade become a choice for a 4 year old? The world they grew up in is all they know from then on. Survival becomes their job and their job becomes their occupation!

I find so many Christians who are still so closed minded about prostitutes and the whole look away approach is what they choose to follow. They rather judge them first before even talking to them. If you do it for money then you are not worth saving. If you do it for leisure then you can repent and your sins will be forgiven!

Wake up and Rise! You want to save souls, Stand up like Jesus! Whom else do you know of that never cared about his reputation nor did he care about the judgmental thoughts of the crowd? Even now when his name gets slandered, most choose not to see the bigger picture. He stopped a woman from being condemned!!! All he cared about was standing up to save a soul of one at his expense!

We are living in an era where flesh trade is on the rise. Lucrative business is what they call it! If the Lord is bringing such an issue to light, he expects us Christ believers to do something about it. He wants to raise an army to combat this epidemic. It is only possible if we start to look at the issue from eyes that are merged with his! The evil is lurking about with dominance. It is doing so because it sees the fear and close-mindedness in the minds of Christians.

Do not fear! and worry yourself on combating this evil. Trust the Lord and always bear in mind the Lords power lies within you!       John 8: 16 says –“Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true [My decision is right]; for I am not alone [in making it], but [there are two of Us] I and the Father, Who sent Me.

Remember at all times; Now, it’s three of us—Jesus, Father and I.
