Each day in the news you hear of shocking occurrences by different forces, near and around the world. It does seem hard to constantly remain calm. Attaining one’s inner peace seems to be a daily struggle. One has to keep in mind that as long as we live in this world, we are bound to face some issues at large. Be it petrol hike, job loss, health issues, financial problems, PROBLEMS!
Mathew 6:11, if understood in its true embodiment is indeed one promise filled verse. However for the most part, the verse seems to lose its strength when uttered in a chanting manner. Give us this day our daily bread, is not just a prayer to be prayed but a conviction that needs to be believed, kept in mind and followed each day when the going gets, feels hard. Our “bread” comes from the Lord, Jesus. The Word assures us, shows us, and blesses us. “Bread” is the promise of things that you require each day to sustain for the day. The prayer does not state tomorrow’s bread, nor next month or year. It says “today’s bread”.
The Lord gave me a revelation on the “bread” blessing. When one trusts the Lord for a car, the money they are blessed with on that day is the “bread” for that day. If he has blessed you on that day to pay your car, he will make sure he will give you the “bread” to help you pay, maintain, run that car. The “bread” blessing is for anything, everything that you desire on ‘a day’ or a blessing on its way for a ‘specific day’.
When you are of the Lord and you are one in him, your heart and his beat as one. He knows exactly what your needs, wants are and guarantees to bless you in abundance with more “bread”. Always keep in mind the “bread” blessing has to be shared in order for it to manifest in your life in more quantity. You cannot always predict where the “bread” for the day may be coming from. You should just believe that you will be blessed with the “bread”. How, where, when, what way, is not for you to worry about. Psalms 121:2 says, “My help comes from the Lord Who made heaven and earth”.
Have faith, leave it to the Lord, he shall do the needful. Remember, Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.
